Who We Are
Irfan Mechanical Elevators (Private) Limited was founded on a straightforward observation: in Pakistan, buying a lift was easy and living with one was not. Units were imported, installed by whoever was available, and then abandoned the moment a controller board failed and the supplier could not source a replacement.
We built the company the other way round. Cabins, car frames and steelwork are fabricated in our own workshops. Installation is carried out by our own crews rather than subcontracted. Service engineers work from our regional offices with spare parts held in stock inside the country. When something needs attention, the people who built it are the people who come out to it.
That approach has taken us from private residences to hospitals, factories, shopping malls and multi-storey commercial plazas — and it is the reason our clients keep calling us back for their next building rather than starting again with someone new.
Our Solutions
From a two-stop home lift to a hospital bed elevator or a mall escalator, every category below is designed, built, installed and maintained by us.
Smooth, energy-efficient lifts engineered for apartment blocks, offices and commercial plazas.
Self-supporting glass shafts that turn vertical movement into an architectural feature.
Continuous people movement for malls, airports and transit buildings, built for heavy daily footfall.
Destination-dispatch control, touchless calls and remote monitoring for buildings that expect more.
Curved panoramic cabins that make the journey between floors part of the experience.
Compact service lifts that move food, documents and linen between floors without carrying them.
Heavy-duty industrial lifts built to take pallets, trolleys and forklift loading every day.
Deep, level-stopping lifts sized for a bed, its attendants and its equipment together.
Suspended platforms that carry maintenance crews safely down a building's facade.
Hydraulic lifting tables that move heavy loads through short vertical distances without a shaft.
Why IME
Cabins, controllers and steelwork are designed and fabricated by our own engineers, so a change to your specification does not mean waiting on an overseas factory.
Every unit is built and tested against recognised lift safety standards, with documented load, brake and overspeed testing handed over on completion.
Gearless permanent-magnet machines with VVVF control draw markedly less current than older geared equipment, with regenerative drives available on larger installations.
Service teams operate from our regional offices with parts held in stock in Pakistan, so a routine repair does not become a months-long import wait.
Interiors are developed with your architect — hairline and etched steel, laminated glass, timber panelling, concealed lighting and bespoke ceiling designs.
A trapped-passenger call is answered around the clock, every day of the year, and treated as an emergency rather than logged for the next working morning.

How We Work
We visit the site, measure the shaft or the space available for one, and talk through traffic, budget and finishes before anything is quoted.
Shaft drawings, load calculations and a cabin design are produced for your approval. Nothing is fabricated until the drawings are signed off.
Our own installation crew erects the guide rails, machine, car and doors, then commissions and load-tests the unit and hands over the test records.
A scheduled service contract keeps the unit safe and reliable, backed by breakdown cover and parts held in stock within Pakistan.
IME
Tell us about your building and we will survey the site, recommend the right unit for the traffic it has to carry, and put a written quotation in front of you.
